"One Hour One Life" is created by Jason Rohrer, which is a multiplayer survival game that feels like living a whole human life and be part of human history in just one hour. This game is about we will born as a baby to become a player, and in the game, 1 minute equals to 1 year of life of the game character it will grow up in 60 minutes. Topic: The practice of sound artist Yasunao Tone Student Name : CHIN Ho Student No : 59380938 (image sources:  https://www.amazon.com/Solo-Wounded-CD-Yasunao-Tone/dp/B000003YU8 ) Yasunao Tone was a Japanese artist and musician who made strange, exciting sounds. He loved mixing art, music, and ideas in new ways. His works include Clapping Piece (1963) and Solo for Wounded CD (1997). From this week, my research blog I focus on one of the tracks from an album, called "Solo For Wounded Part I" is a 14-minute track on the Solo For Wounded CD. This track is using “wounded” CDs and stick tape on CDs to make them skip and glitch on purpose. The skip created wild and broken sounds. In Part I of the Solo For Wounded album, the track will start quietly, with little zaps and clicks, like a CD player struggling to work. His works include Virtual Jihadi and The 3rd I. From this week, the research blog post, I focused on one of his artworks, "Domestic Tension," which is a networked performance. Wafaa Bilal will broadcast live to the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and invite viewers to watch and chat with him at all hours. The viewers will also be given the option to choose to shoot Wafaa Bilal with a robotically controlled paintball gun. Moreover, this artwork highlights the violence and racism in US culture after the September 11 attacks to raise awareness about the Iraqis who have been affected. His works, including Legible City and Viewpoint, allow audiences to control the story and change how we experience cinema. From this week, my research blog I focus on one of his expanded cinema artworks, "Corpocinema". In this artworks, it was made with a large air-inflated PVC dome 700cm in diameter and 400 cm high. The structure enclosed a space into which moving film and slides could be projected from without. For my research blog this week, I focused on one of his paintings, " Shifted Sims #9 (Eco Lifestyle) ". In this painting, Pieter Schoolwerth references the popular life-simulation computer game The Sims 4, specifically a scene from the Eco Lifestyle downloadable content pack. The painting shows a modern, Eco-friendly home with furniture and plants. Three Sims avatars are shown engaging in activities within the scene.
