Stephanie Dinkins is an artist from U.S.A who blends art, technology and community work. She creates art to explore how artificial intelligence to connects with different race and gender. Moreover, using sculpture, coding, installations and community projects to build a platform for dialogue about artificial intelligence. Also, she use storytelling and speculative design to challenge AI and encourages everyone to help shape its future.

For my research blog this week, I focused on two of her artworks, "Not The Only One" and "Conversations with Bina48". "Not The Only One " is from the perspective of an artificial intelligence to create a multigenerational story of a black American family. The artificial intelligence was trained to reflect the values and experiences of communities often ignored in technology. Also, "Not The Only One" will use his own voice to answer according the user questions or the AI's mood to change. Also it will run on local computers to keep community data safe. it is hard to understand or refuses to respond, showing the limits of AI because they teach us about AI’s challenges and encourage people to be patient with it.

Second, "Conversations with Bina48" is a social robot created by Teasem Movement Foundation. This project is explore either person and a robot can build a long -term relationship based on emotions. Also, Stephanie Dinkins and Bina48 discuss different topic such as family, racism, faith, robot rights, loneliness, and knowledge. To discover both the robot’s limits and its unique perspective.

To conclusion, Stephanie Dinkins 's artworks "Not The Only One" and "Conversations with Bina48 " show her to making artificial intelligence more inclusive and fair. Also, these artworks use art, technology and storytelling to challenge how AI is made and who will get to shape it.
